One source of truth
Customers, vehicles, work orders, stock, invoices, and the calendar live in the same system. Nothing is retyped. Nothing disagrees between three tools.
Workshop OS · Tesland
One platform. Everything under control.
Custom-built for Tesland in Almere. Workshop, warehouse, webshop, invoicing, marketing, and HR share one database — not six separate products talking past each other. TesLapp is the app on the floor.
Why it exists
Off-the-shelf garage software always stops just short of the real process. Tesland One was written for how this team actually works — front office, warehouse, and floor — on desktop and on TesLapp.
Customers, vehicles, work orders, stock, invoices, and the calendar live in the same system. Nothing is retyped. Nothing disagrees between three tools.
Front office plans and invoices. Warehouse orders and receives. Technicians execute. Each role sees what it needs — and not the rest.
New processes land when Tesland needs them. The roadmap is internal, not a vendor queue.
What’s in it
Day, week, and month calendar. Drag appointments to a technician. Work orders run from quote to invoice. Kanban on the floor, time on the job, MOT reporting from the order.
Parts per work order, purchase orders, receiving, locations, and returns. Status is visible: still needed, ordered, incoming, or ready for the bay.
Customer cards, vehicle history, and plate lookup. Business VAT is checked for EU reverse charge. Click a number to call when telephony is set up.
Quotes the customer can approve online. Invoices from a finished work order. Pin, online payment, or on account. Credit notes when something has to be reversed.
Orders sit next to workshop work, not in a separate world. Pack, ship, or hold for collection. The shop speaks more than one language.
MOT, service, and seasonal reminders go out from the same vehicle data. Abandoned-cart and wishlist mail when it is useful. A shared inbox for customer threads.
Leave requests, balances, and recurring absence — school days stay off the planner so a bay is not booked on a day that person is not there.
Similar complaints surface earlier work and known fixes. Dashboards and an audit trail for the office.
Workshop
A work order carries the vehicle, the complaint, the parts, the clock, and the customer decision. Front office and the bay look at the same colours.
Visual calendar, technician rows, a pool for the day, and a lane for work that is not placed yet. Online bookings land here. Confirmation mail goes out when an appointment is confirmed.
Findings can raise a customer action per line — needs a call, waiting, done, or declined. Tablet checklists, photos, and time from TesLapp stay on the order.
The warehouse sees which jobs are still red. When everything is in, the colour goes green and the technician can start.
TesLapp
TesLapp belongs to Tesland One. iPhone, iPad, and Android. Same account, same work orders, same stock. No laptop on the lift.
Find an order by number, plate, or code. Today’s board. Clock in and out. Book parts. Photos stay on the job.
Read mileage, VIN, and fault codes from the display. The values land on the work order instead of a notepad.
Scan stock, change a location, receive incoming goods, pick webshop orders, print labels, file a receipt.
Assists
Tesland One drafts planning titles, classifies a line as part, labour, or complaint, matches supplier invoices to the catalogue, and searches earlier work when the wording is not the same. Staff can always overwrite it.
Lookups and hand-offs cover vehicle data, MOT reporting, payments, shipping, accounting, and EU VAT checks. The Tesla service centre and accessories shop stay on tesland.com. Tesland One itself is internal — not an App Store product.
